1. Image Processing

OptimizeImg operates 100% in your browser (Client-Side).

  • When you load an image onto our website, it is NEVER uploaded to our servers or any external cloud.
  • All compression, conversion, and editing processes happen locally on your device using advanced web technologies (WebAssembly).
  • As a result, it is technically impossible for us to view, store, or share your images. You remain the sole owner and custodian of your files at all times.

2. Data We Collect

We do not have user accounts, registrations, or customer databases. However, to keep the site running, we use standard technical services:

  • Access Logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log basic technical metadata about your connection (such as your IP address, browser, and operating system) strictly for security purposes, DDoS prevention, and network diagnostics.
  • Anonymous Analytics: We use web analytics services (such as Ahrefs) to understand which pages are most visited. This data is aggregated, anonymous, and is not used to create user profiles or for behavioral advertising.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use invasive advertising tracking cookies.

  • We use your browser's LocalStorage solely to remember your interface preferences (such as dark/light mode) to provide you with a more comfortable experience.
  • Our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare) may set essential technical cookies for site security.
